What is Botox and Dysport?
Both BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® are made from botulinum toxin, a naturally-occurring organic substance. Both neuromodulators block the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. This helps relax the muscles and helps smooth wrinkles. It is a wonderful non-invasive approach for those not ready for a facelift Botox®is an FDA-approved perception medicine for temporarily treating facial lines and wrinkles.
Dysport® is composed of Botulinum Toxin Type A, but is composed of smaller molecules than BOTOX®, so it diffuses more easily across the target areas
With BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® you will notice results in as little as 24 to 72 hours with full results for BOTOX® Cosmetic in 2 weeks and Dysport® in 5 to 7 days. The results last up to 4 months. Over time you need less frequent treatments using Dysport due to its greater staying power. Combing facial fillers with give you a complete “liquid facelift” with results that will look natural, refreshed, and rejuvenated.
